Rachel Moss

Rachel is an Emmy-nominated producer, director, and writer, with work that spans across documentary and narrative. She has produced on several documentaries that have premiered on Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Apple, and at the Sundance Film Festival, including Norm: The Tale of Norm Macdonald, The Money Game, and Girls State. She got her start in late night and scripted comedies, cutting her teeth on TV shows such as Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj (Netflix), Full Frontal with Samantha Bee (TBS), Broad City (Comedy Central), The Characters (Netflix), and Search Party (TBS).

 

Rachel also writes and directs independent short films. Her film Guardian's Grove won the PANO Network Microgrant and premiered at Palm Springs International Shortfest, where it received the Special Mention for the Young Cineastes Jury Award. Her film My Roommate is Missing premiered at LA Shorts.

Rachel additionally independently produces film and live comedy. She's produced short films that have played at festivals such as SXSW, Fantastic Fest, Aspen Shortsfest, Palm Springs International Shortfest, Lower East Side Film Festival, and others. Rachel has brought several comedians’ solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to much critical acclaim, including nominations and wins at the Comedians’ Choice Awards. She also has produced sold out comedy shows in New York and Los Angeles. Rachel is a 2026 Film Independent Project Involve Producer Fellow.
